It’s always been with Ed since the earlier years to amplify his clean sounds. During the Iberian tour a second AC 30 replaced Ed’s Mesa-Boogie amplifiers. A back-up Vox AC30 is nowadays placed exactly behind the first one. |

Mesa-Boogie amplifiers has always been Ed’s favourite for distorted sounds. As you can see in the pic Ed uses the black one whilst the other is most times a back-up but sometimes used along with the main . They’ve been dropped during the second part of the Iberian tour of summer 2002 and picked up again for 2003. |

This magnetic device makes strings vibrate with infinite sustain. Used on Talk Show Host, My Iron Lung and the beginning of How to Disappear Completely. |
This one is used during the second verse of Idioteque. |
