Colin Greenwood

RACKs & AMPs

Colin's rackmounted stuff has been increasing during years. His current setup is made of two rack boxes: one for the GK 800RB,
the other one for the GK 400RB. The remaining racks are present in both boxes (except for the tuner which is in the first one only).

Korg DTR-2 Rack Tuner

An accurate rack tuner.

DBX 160A Compressor/Limiter

A well known compressor for bass, used to increase sustain.

Alembic F-1X Tube Preamp

A pre-amp with a tube circuit that provides impedance and gain control.

Furman PL8 Power Conditioner

A conditioner that provides power protection and an optimized currency to the other processors.

Gallien-Krueger 800RB Bass Head

A famous bass bi-amplifier (300W+100W) with 4 bands of active equalizer and 3 voicing filters.

Gallien-Krueger 400RB Bass Head

A bass amplifier similar to GK800RB but with less power. Probably used as a back-up.

Ampeg SVT-AV Head

The latest addition in Colin's rig: 2 of these heads recently took the place of the GK 400RB box.

Ampeg SVT 810E Cabinet

An 8X10' cabinet.
